My son started walking at 9 months, is this normal for boys.
Not unheard of. My nephew did at 9 months and he climbed too and his poor mother nearly lost it when he was so little and yet walking. My earliest walker was across the room at 8 months, then waited until 10 months to take off from then on. I had one other one who walked at 10 months. Both were girls so I guess it doesn't just fit for boys.
Sure-and it looks so cute when they're that little! Even 15 months is normal-it just varies!
My son was walking fully and running before 7 months old. He was a determined boy.
My husband walked un amssisted at 6 months, so did our daughter.
Son number 1 walked at 9 months, son number 2 walked at 12 months.
I've heard 7-18 months is the average range
my son didn't walk until 16 months!
It obviously is for your boy, and that is all that matters.
It is early but nothing to worry about. My son started walking at 10.5 months.

my son started walking at 10 mo and climbing stairs at 12 mo. my mom says i started walking at 9 mo. i know of someone whose son started walking at 7 mo. it all varies.
My son's started walking at 8-1/2 months and 9 months. It is completely normal. Babies go at their own speed.

My question is did your son crawl first. If so, then move forward, if not then make sure he learns to crawl - it will effect his depth perception.
