VPK Recommendations

Ok I need some help. We live in Valrico and need to find a GOOD VPK for my youngest. I would like something that is family oriented or a religioius base (but not overly religious - more general - as we are Catholic and I don't want to have her too confused, if you know what I mean). The problem is I drop off my middle daughter at her school at 7:30am and I need to get my eldest to her middle school at 8:30am. This would be such a problem except that are so far apart - Buckhorn Elem (Durant & Miller) & LLT (Bloomingdale past 301). I really don't want to be driving ALL day. I would like to find something that is on the way from Buckhorn to LLT and is OK with me dropping her off early if I need to (which I may have to do).

I highly recommend Bloomingdale Academy off Bloomingdale between Kings and Watson Rd. It would be on your way to the high school between drop off's.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Peacock's Plume. My daughter and niece just graduated from their VPK program in May. They are located at the corner of Bell Shoals and Bloomingdale. Ms. Sherrie is the owner, Ms. Donna is the Director, and Ms. Wanda is the VPK teacher.

Both girls loved going to school every day and still talk about all the wonderful things they learned from Ms. Wanda.

You might want to check them out right away. They only have one VPK class and it fills up fast!

I have had my son at A Child's Haven since he was 3 yrs. old, he completed the VPK program there last yr. and did GREAT! My youngest is starting in the 2 yr. old class this yr. and will stay there through the age of 4. I CAN NOT say enough WONDERFUL things about the Private Pre-school. It is located in Brentwood Hills Sub. off of Valrico Rd. and the Principal's name is Mrs. Bowser....good luck to you.

My daughter went to A Child's Haven, they are really good, I was pleased with them. They are in Brentwood Hills,between Valrico Rd or Mt Carmel. Mrs. Bowser is the Principal there & Mrs. Michelle is her assistant. You can tell her Lexi F.'s mom referred you.
