VPK Providers in Pasco- Do You Have One That You Love(d)?

I am looking for VPK providers in pasco county. I live in the new tampa area. This would be for the August school year when he turns "4". My other son went to a summer session at hand in hand academy and we loved the success. I wanted to find out what other moms thougt of providers closer to where we live. I am looking for a place that is nuturing and with previous school teachers teaching. Just wanted to see if anyone had suggestions or places that they were really happy with.

What can I do next?

OK, I guess we need at least one stupid-question inquirer in every crowd, don't we?

So here's my stupid question, what in the world is a VPK? My guess would be something to do with Pre-K?

Hi S.

My daughter went to New River Church off 54 in Wesley Chapel! It was a GREAT program! They use the abecca curriculum - she was reading at 4 BEFORE Christmas! Miss Cathy is GREAT! It is the church where the flea market is held every tues & thurs! They even have a before and after care program for a VERY REASONABLE rate :)
Hope that helps!

We have been very happy with the VPK at Discovery Point, in Seven Oaks. Our kids go there for day care as well.

Gosh.....someone as NUTS as ME!! I have baby number 4 coming in June, but my oldest is........5!! Anyway, I know you said Pasco, but St. James is on Bruce B Downs and we LOVE it. You know, I had to spend the night to get a spot and am so pleased with the place for my 5 year old. Nurturing is their number one concern. My 4 year old will do the VPK there too this fall. Starts at 8:30 am and goes until 12:00pm, M-F. Good luck!

My son went to First Kids, which is in the First Baptist Church on State Road 54 (by Boyette). For the most part, they were really good with the kids and my son loved it there. I also liked the fact that it was Christian based. And the price was great... Let me know and I can give you the name and number of the director.
