Vet in the Allen Area

We just got our first puppy (a Westie) on Saturday and need a vet in the Allen area. We'd like one that does boarding and grooming and emergency care, if that is possible. We live very near the outlet mall on Stacy if anyone knows of a nice vet near here. Thanks!

What can I do next?

We use the Allen Veterinary Hospital and have been happy there. The # is ###-###-#### and they're at 803 E. Main Street, Suite A (This is on McDermott, about a mile and a half east of 75).

We use Dr. Osteen at
Allen Veterinary Centre
1021 W. McDermott Drive

Across the street from Lowes and just a little down.

Congratulations on the new puppy! Our vet is a little further, but I can't say enough good things about them!

They have been so terrific with us through the loss of a pet and the new puppyhood of another! Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about them!

Stacy Animal Hospital is one that several of my clients use (I'm a Pet Sitter). The emergency hospital is on Custer just North of Hwy 121 and all of the local Vet's refer there. We personally use Dr. Taylor with Highlands-Eldorado Vet Clinic in McKinney b/c they are open until 8 several nights and for us, that's a plus!

There are two vets I would highly recommend. Allen Veterinary Centre on McDermott (Dr's Davis & Osteen) and Custer McDermott Veterinary Clinic. I do not know if they offer grooming. You will not find many vets that do true emergency work. Your best bet is to go to the local emergency centers after hours. One is located at 75 & George Bush, and the other is at Custer & 121 (Emergeny Animal Hospital of Collin County). -JM
