VBS Craft Help!

Hi Ladies!

I am wanting to make memory mirrors for my VBS kids. We are planning for around 250 kids this year. I need square shaped, safe, non-glass mirrors for this project and am coming up empty. I have checked Michaels, Oriental Trading, even googled and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Do they have to be able to see good with the mirrors?? Or is it just the idea of a mirror? I wonder if tin foil would work. Just an idea

This may sound silly, but it was the first thing I thought of when I read your question.... what if you contacted the manufacturer of one of the shower mirrors (that men use to shave with), that is a non-breakable mirror and about the size you are looking for... maybe they would cut you a deal (you need so many) and send you some (prior to making them into the shower caddy mirror). Just a thought~K.

Mirrored mylar comes in a roll. Check with Gail at Through the Keyhole (miniatures shop) at Preston and Forest. She should be able to order it for you.

L., depending on what quality of mirror you want, you could use foil or any thing shiny that would give a reflection. Could you make your own mirror by putting black backing on clear plastic, just a thought, I haven't tried it. Hopefully you will get some useful ideas. Where are you located, I would consider helping you get crafts together, if you are near by. I have done many summers of VBS and would like to help.
