Vacuum Cleaner That Works on Dog Hair?

Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner they like that works on dog hair removal? Some of these models are so expensive, but yet, do they work? I'd love your feedback at what works for you? Thanks in advance!

The Dyson really works. We have a longhair dog that sheds like you wouldn't believe. A friend recommended the Dyson. We finally broke down and got one and I have been amazed at how well it works. If you watch for Bed Bath & Beyond or Linnen's N Things coupons you can actually use it and save 20% off.

Just a warning you will be amazed at how many time you have to empty it on the first go round. We're clean freaks and were amazed at what all it picked up. Especially dog hair.

Good Luck!

The Dyson animal vac is great. I did however invest in a combo steamer/vac so I am selling my Dyson. THey are about $550 new and mine was 3 months old and I would sell to you for $400 if you are interested.

A.,

I've spent thousands on different vacuum cleaners over the years. I finally convinced my husband to spend the money on a Dyson. It's so worth it! The newest purple dyson, the ball, is the best one to get. It's more manueverable, works on all flooring surfaces and is even easire to use than last yer's model.

I have 4 dogs, all long hair(on ehas black fur)and light beige carpet. I'm also allergic to dust and pet dander. The dyson is amazing and my husband loves it so much I'm not allowed to vacuum!

If you'd like to try it out, email me ____@____.com and you can come by and use it.

We have a Bernese Mountain dog with lots of long hair and we love our Dyson too. If purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond you can use a 20% off coupon. The coupons used to state not valid on Dyson but the most recent coupons I recieved in the mail do not. I also use a Pet Hair Eliminator Broom (it has rubber "teeth" and works off of static electricity) and I love it on my wood floors it picks up everything! This too can be purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond or The Container Store.

Hi A., Save some money and purchase a commercial upright vacuum. I have a Sanitaire. Not only does it get everything, there are no bags to buy, you just empty the large receptacle when you are through. It has very few plastic parts and in the 15 years I have had it, the only repairs are the belts that break about once a year.
