Vaccines - Tempe,AZ

My son is 5 1/2 months and it's time for his 6 month vaccines soon. I believe in vaccinating my child, but I want to do it on a different schedule than the suggested one. Does anyone have the Dr. Sears Alternative Vaccine Schedule they can send me?

Thanks so much ~

Hi M.,

Having a son who has a disease (Mastocytosis) due to vaccination, I feel compelled to encourage you to look at the facts before vaccinating.

Diseases such as Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Diphtheria, and others all had a natural DECLINE PRIOR to the introduction of the vaccine. Once the vaccine was introduced for each, the number of diseases cases INCREASED.

Keep in mind that the people pushing these vaccines have a vested interest in your using them...money! However, the people urging you NOT to vaccinate have NO monetary gain from your decision one way or the other.

In a study by the Journal of American Medical Association, 78% of doctors and 91% of OBGYNs actually REFUSED the Rubella vaccine. There was also a study done and published in the Journal of family practice where of doctors surveyed about the Hep B vaccine, a whopping 87% of them did NOT feel it was necessary for newborns to have this vaccine.

I highly encourage you to do your homework before having your children vaccinated. There's a great book with lots of statistics and info called "Vaccines - Are They Really Safe & Effective?" by Neil Z. Miller. Again, keep in mind the sources of the information. Drug companies are often the ones funding the research -- a little biased, I think.

Best of luck to you!

Warm Regards,

Hi M., the link I found helpful is http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/0...

I know it looks like a lot, but I copies the exact page to hopefully simplify your search. I also have a "legal rights" page below to put your worries at ease...we are allowed to refuse.

take care, we have a little boy the same age as your little one and we've decided to defer until after 2 years of age.

Dr. Sears proposed selective schedule is as follows-
2 mo DTaP, Prevnar
4 mo DTaP, Hib
6 mo Hib, Prevnar
9 mo DTaP, Prevnar
12 mo Hib
15 mo Hib, Prevnar
5 years Tetanus booster

He recommended giving them only 1 or 2 at a time to decrease the chances of side effects, and talked about the use of Vitamins A and C prior to and after the shots to help decrease the chances of a reaction.

He considered Meningitis and Pertussis to be the most possible and most serious for infants.

He considered Meningitis possible AND serious for toddlers, but rare beyond age 2.

He considered polio, heb b, diptheria, adn tetanus as diseases that are very serious, but that your young child would NOT catch them.

He considered Measles, Mumps and Rubella as rare adn not serious for infants and toddlers.

He considreed chickenpox to be common and not serious.

He said that if you plan to travel outside the US, that the following shots were important,
Polio- Africa and Asia
Tetanus- wounds more likely on vacation, and less access to a shot while traveling
Hib
Diptheria- check with CDC

He said to consider the following shots for your teens-
Hep B
Chicken pox
Rubella- important for women of child bearing age
Tetanus- boosters every 10 years

Hope that helps!!!! Good Luck

I don't have the schedule you are looking for M., but my daughter just found out she is pregnant and I would like a copy if you receive one.

Thanks,

M.

I just moved and can't find the book at the moment, but I highly recommend reading it. Yes, he does give you an alternative schedule, but you may find in reading it that you come to different conclusions (based upon the chemicals, other ingredients, severity of the disease, etc.) than he does. I know I did. But if you can't afford buying it, I'm certain you can check it out from the library.

the best thing is to get them all seperate. Many professionals recommend not vaccinating until 2 years old when the immune system is stronger. Is your doctor understanding of your wishes? Mine was not so we moved elsewhere. I wish you luck-
there are lots of good resources out there that give you both sides of the vaccination story without pushing in one direction- just the facts so you can make a decision that is best for your child:)

M.,
I have an alternate vaccine schedule I give out to my clients, but it is a bit lengthy, it can be found at; http://www.lewrockwell.com/miller/miller15.html with an update at; http://www.donaldmiller.com/an_update_on_this_vaccination... °Ü°
