Vacation Bible School or Summer Camp for My 2.5 Year Old Grapevine, HEB Area
Hi,
I am looking for vacation bible school or other summer camp for my 2.5 year old. Recently my work situation has changed and I am now available to pick up my daughter from daily activities that end early in the day (an untouchable idea for the working Mom). I need to attend some physical therapy and Dr. appointments yet can't see (nor afford) putting my daughter in full day daycare each time I need to do this. I was just thinking that since this is summer time, there might be some opportunities available that I don't know of. Maybe even Mom's Day Out. I am not particular about the denomination of the church other than Christian if it is for VBS. Anyone have any suggestions?

We use Adventure Kids Playcare. They are a drop in daycare by the hour and I think they have Mom's Day out on certain mornings with special crafts and activities.

The youngest that most VBS programs accept is "completed kindergarten" -- Some areas have a Kiddin' Around or something similar that is a child drop center....kind of like a drop-in day care where you pay by the hour.

St. Timothy preschool is great! They have 2 summer programs. One just closed and the other starts on Tues. It's tues and thurs for 4 weeks at 240 for the full session. They are located on Forest Ridge just North of Harwood.
