Does anybody know of any companies that have childcare available on site in chicago? NOT childcare payment assistance, but actual daycare facilites on site provided by the company at a discount to their employees. A company I use to work for had this at their site in another state, so I wanted to know if Chicago had any companies that offered the same thing. I need a day job!
My friend works for Northern Trust and uses the daycare there. It is NOT disounted at all. She pays like 1200 - 1400/month for 1 child!!!!
UIC has a lab preschool for kids 2 yrs 9 months +, available for employees only. It's supposed to be quite good.
Northern Trust and ABN AMRO has child care on site.
Look for the companies that are listed as top 100 companies for working mothers. I believe they all have onsite daycares. My husband's company does - HSBC, formerly Household International.
Allstate only has it at their homeoffice in Northbrook.
Allstate Insurance company, Abbott Laboratories, to name a few.
