Urologist Recomendation for Vasectomy

We're looking for a urologist for the big V in the Fort Worth, Arlington, or Mid Cities areas. I'd love to go by recommendation rather than picking at random from the phone book. Any recommendations? TIA!

He's not in your specified area, but Dr. J. Michael Arthur at Coppell Family Medical Center is the best. He uses a different method that is permanent (no way to reverse) and much less painful than the typical. When my dh had it done 7 years ago he was one of two in TX who did it that way although I'm sure there are many more now. He's a GP but is well known for V's (other Drs come to him for it). Good luck!

I really like Dr Todd Young. He's on University in Ft Worth Cultural District. His # is ###-###-####. I hear Dr Hey is good too in their office.
R.

Dr Patrick Frey out of Baylor in Grapevine. His number is ###-###-####. He is a great Doctor.

I have the gentlest, most wonderful urologist in the world (kidney stones). I've even taken my two year old son to see him. He's personable and just an all around great guy. Even the nurses at the surgery center I went to talked about how wonderful he is to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone.

His name and information:

Davidson, Scott D MD - North DFW Urology Association
###-###-####
1601 Lancaster Dr Ste 170
Grapevine, TX 76051

If you have specific questions about him, please email me. I'd be happy to answer. I've been seeing him for about 6 months and am thrilled that my PCP sent me to him and not someone else.

I recommend Dr. Hey in Fort Worth. He has been my Urologist for the past year and a half and I have even talked with him about a vasectomy for my husband. He is great! His name is Dr. Wayne Hey. He is actually in the same office as Todd Young in Fort Worth off University.

My husband used Patrick Frey in Grapevine: http://www.uant.com

He said he was really good and has recommended him to others. My husband didn't have any trouble with the vasectomy - just laid on the couch for a couple of days. He even drove himself home after the surgery.
