OK ladies - please tell me what kind of underwear to buy that won't ride up and won't show panty lines (and fits under mid-rise pants - doesn't go up to waist). Thanks!

What can I do next?

I like my Hanes :) I can't afford fancy panties. I buy either the boy shorts or the hipsters. I love them. They are low enough that they don't stick out of my pants, I don't have panty line problems, and they're cheap! :) Boy shorts are the best for no panty lines. I can't do thongs or commando, just not my style.

I love Gap's low rise hipsters. Sooo comfortable. Thin so they don't show a panty line hardly at all. I buy them when they go on sale; otherwise they are a bit pricey. In fact, just bought some more recently on sale. They are all I ever wear. Oh, and they don't ride up whatsoever.

I love seamless boy shorts -especially the ones from Victoria's Secret. They're more coverage than a thong (although I like thongs) and are very comfortable. Most have no elasticity or seams in the legs so nothing shows under pants -and they fit around your hips, so they don't stick up out of your waist-band!

Thong. You either have 3-4 inches of material up your bum or you have a small strip (not a string thong) up your bum. I only wear one kind b/c most are too thin, stringy and not cotton. Once I found a kind that was comfortable, I bought about 20 pair.

thong is the only type that wont give you a panty line and you wont have to pick a wedgie all day!!!

I pretty much only get Victoria's Secret cotton underwear. Cotton is better if you're prone to infections (or not), and I like their hiphugger or boyshort fits. I think I always have some kind of faint line, but they do not move around. Underwear should stay where you put it in the mornings.

Oh, their Body by Victoria boyshorts or hiphuggers hardly show at all.

Boy shorts (the booty shorts kind that are tight cotton)...but they still show panty lines through some material. OR
G-strings...oh so comfortable, and covers your checklist. =)

Well a thong is the first thing that comes to mind, have you tried that? My neice is excited about something called a yoga panty that they sell at Victoria's Secret and they seem to be very comfy and although they did show a panty line, it seemed fainter than normal! I think most any regular panty you buy will show through unfortunately. You could try the brazillian cut or boy short since they hug your buns a bit more it might not show as much.

I am wearing ones from Motherhood Maternity, and my youngest is 2, so not prego anymore, but they fit great! They are a one size fits all stretchy cotton material with an elastic lace around the leg openings, and a med-low rise waist.

Boy! If underwear makers would actually NOTICE a) current styles, and b) how women are actually shaped! Then mix that in with a little common sense...at least enough to know that we DO actually prefer our butts to be covered, and those who don't, wear thongs (I'll never quite get the idea behind the butt floss attraction). They'd make some killer underwear!

Hanky Panky's are great for that. They last forever, too.
