I am just curious to talk to other moms with twins. They are my 3 and 4th kids, but its totally different. I just wonder how other moms are doing it. Please leave me a message, or respond so we can chat more. Just curious and have lots of questions. Oh, they are 15 months old, both girls.

What can I do next?

Hi! My name is C.. I dont have twins but I do have 2 children the same age. One boy and one girl, both 7. They are 4 months apart in age, so it is like having twins. Sometimes it is hard to deal with 2 the same age but it also nice. The girl is mine and the boy is my husbands but I have adopted him. They are my oldest kids. Write back if you would like to talk some more.

hi there!

i feel like i'm reading my life story 15 months ahead of me. i am 24 weeks pregnant with identical twin girls due in february. they too will be my 3rd/4th! i have a 9yo son and 2yo daughter. i have a bachelor's degree in english already and was working on my sciences to enter the accelerated nursing program at either OHSU or PSU before i got pregnant. this pregnancy i was so sick i couldn't imagine sitting in class. although i can't answer any questions for you, i can be an ear to listen. you also might want to consider joining fullhousemoms.com (it's a support group for moms and dads of multiples). they are located in portland, but anyone from anywhere can join. i attend their monthly meetings and it's great to meet other moms in the same situation. there are moms at all stages of the game too. let me know if you're in the area and if you decide to attend!

take care, K.

Hello, yes it is different having twins, i have 13 year old twin girls and a 9 year old girl and have spent the last 13 years trying to get everyone to stop comparing them, they are fraternal and very different in looks. I have no great inspiring advice only to say that they are individuals before they are twins. Dressing them alike i found never a good idea if you want them to grow up and find independence, i know its easier to shop for them like that but if they had been singletons you woud never do it. Looking back i wish i had tried to do more for them separately. I feel very lucky to have such beautiful girls.

I take my baby to water wings 3 times a week. Its fun. It gives me a chance to talk with the other moms. We set up play dates and the kids learn to swim. They opened one on eastern and the 215 right next to chucky cheese.

I had girl/boy twins 6 months ago. They are my 3rd and 4th also. I have an 11 year and a 7 year old. It is so much harder than with my first two. Maybe I am older, but I have never been so tired and busy in my life. I own a daycare center, so I went back to work when they were 3 months old. Just curious if they ever start sleeping? I average about 3 hours a night. I don't get a whole lot of help from my husband (he is a truck driver). When home he helps, but he is gone alot. So I almost feel like a single mom 90% of the time. Did you get postpartum? Would love to talk more.

I have 16 month old fraternal twin girls. I still breastfeed, but also supplement with organic cows milk. They are my first and last children. Two is quite enough for me! I am a stay-at-home mom and we (husband and twins) live in henderson, NV which is about 10 minutes from Las Vegas. I used to be an elementary teacher. I will probably go back to work part-time when they are in first or maybe second grade, depending on our situation. I've gone to a mothers of multiples get together, but wasn't extrememly impressed. It was more for the moms to get away, instead of to bring their kids to it. I do agree you need to get away from them once in a while, but it just wasn't for me. I currently just take them to free classes that the hospital where they were born sponsers. We also go to LaLeche League meetings once per month. Lastly, we attend a mommy and me group every other week with 3 other moms (the other moms have singletons). That's how i try to get out and not go stir crazy. It is very difficult to take them to the park alone, but i did recently find a park that has infant playground equipment. That made it MUCH easier when they start running separate ways. I wasn't so afraid they would get hurt if they fell off the equipment. If you would like to email me, it's ____@____.com Good luck.

I have 14 1/2 month old b/g twins,Mason and Madison, and am in CHeyenne, WY. I am still nursing them, though I plan to have them weaned before January (when I have to take a trip out of town for 4 days without them). They were born naturally at home. My husband is a chiropractor also, so that helps a lot for great advice. I also have a 16 yr old son, who lives with his dad. Email me a message and we can chat anytime. Yahoo ID is k_yarb.

I have 3.5 yo b/g twins. They are my first and last! I thought of having more children, but after these two, I thought again. Having multiples is VERY CHALLENGING, to say the least. Whether you have a husband who's helpful or not, or if you are a single mom, there is nothing like having MULTIPLE babies. My first 3 years were a BLUURRR. I had post-partum really bad...crying all they time, wondering what the heck I was doing! I had my kids at 36, so it was a huge lifestyle change for me. I did go back to work as a flight attendant after a year. Thank God for my job. I NEEDED TIME AWAY. It makes me a better mom and parent. My husband is the greatest, but sometimes it's frustrating just trying to "keep up". I finally had to 'let things go' and not sweat the small things and only worry about how I was going to get through the day and get a shower and brush my teeth (sometimes I didn't do that!)...It does get better, let me tell you. My kids are in preschool now 3 days a week and it's so wonderful.

If you have any more questions just email me.
Best of luck.
Regards, T.
