Trying to Find OB in Highlands/Downtown/Wheatridge Area
Hello! My husband and I moved to the Denver area about 6 months ago and we are now trying to get pregnant for the first time. I am looking for a great OB near the Highlands area, where we live. Does anyone have any recommendations? Since this would be our first pregnancy (hopefully!) I would like someone very caring and thorough. Thank you!
So What Happened?™
Thanks all. I made an appointment at the Westside Women's Clinic and so far so good. Now the fun part - TRYING to have a baby!

I have a great OBGYN. Her name is Bonita Kolrud. She is part of the Westside womens care practice located behind Lutheran Medical Center. I think she is wonderful and the office staff is friendly also. I would refer any of my friends and family to her. Good Luck Debbie

You say "downtown" in your title so I will suggest MidTown OBGYN, next to St. Josephs hospital, right downtown.
A WONDERFUL group of women!!
I really would be happy with any of them. My doc didn't deliver my baby due to being out of town and one of the other docs stepped in and I felt just as confident!
I also had my appendix taken out when I was 7 weeks pregnant and 2 of the doctors can by and saw me in the hospital during my stay. Just a great group and I feel very taken care of with them!

Horizon Women's Care - Dr. Heidi Oster is the BEST!!!!!
She's off Lincoln and I-25 in the medical buildings at Sky Ridge Hospital.

Check out this website for Heritage Homebirth Midwifery. Jean Dhority, midwife, delivered both of my boys and was an excellent care taker and resource for both my husband and I, especially when we were first time parents! Homebirth may not be your first option and so I encourage you to check it out and even talk with Jean before you finalize your future birth plans. The experience altogether was better than I could have expected!

I loved Westside Women's Care with Lutheran Hospital. They have a handful of both Dr.'s and Midwives and all are very friendly. I've been to many OB's and I have to say I had the best experience with them. I used them when I lived in North Denver. Good luck with your pregnancy! Congrats.

I LOVE Partners in Pediatrics. They have a downtown office. It is a group practice, and I like all the providers we have seen except for Nancy Latitus. I would avoid seeing her, but overall it is a great practice.
We have decided not to vaccinate, and they have not given us a hard time about that. Also, they use and sell natural remedies (herbs, homeopathics) in their offices, which is helpful if you are more naturally minded.
Good Luck!

Dr. MacArthur Hill is the best! We've moved a lot, so I've had a lot of doctors and he's my favorite. He delivers at Lutheran in Wheatridge and his office is right across the street. He also has a female nurse practitioner that I hear good things about.
