Hi L.,
When I introduced the bottle to my (now) 5 month old daughter she was 7 weeks old. I had a lot of luck with the Gerber slow-flow nipple. It actually was a bottle included with a breast pump I bought, but she never had any trouble with it and still uses it.

AHHH I feel your pain and went thru the EXACT same thing with my little girl. she REFUSED to take bottle, and FINALLY did 3 days before I returned to work. The one nipple that worked was from NAM.. You have have already tried it..I tried to let neighbors feed her, my husband NOTHING worked.. then Finally while walking with her in my arms she took a bottle... I laid off for a little while then tried again. It is extremly frustrating but hang in there it will occur! Just not when you want it to!

Avent bottles made in england worked great for me. I had three kids that were breast fed and the pediatrician told me this is one of the easiest nipples for kids to transition back and forth from breast to bottle and back again. I breast fed primarily and used the bottle when needed. Good Luck.

I am a SAHM of 2. I had the same problem with my daughter. We had to special order a brestshapped bottle for her because when I went back to work my husband had to stay with her and feed her and she refused to take a bottle. I had to nurse her on my lunch break and everything. I am currently nursing my son who is 5 1/2 months old. It was hard at first but since I am a SAHM with him I nurse him on demand and we really have no problems. He also takes a bottle just fine if I am not around and he needs to. But here is a website link to the bottle we had to use with my daughter. I suggest trying to nurse your daughter for as long as possible. It may be hard at first but it will be worth it in so many different ways if you can keep it up. http://www.leapsandboundscatalog.com/product/85207/686/11...

Have you tried Dr Brown's yet? They have a smaller nipple and the bottle is designed with a vaccuum (good for colic, spitup, ear infections etc.) I had really good luck with it!
Good Luck!
