I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Depending on how far along you were when you miscarried, some doctors will recommend that you wait 3 months before trying again. If you were miscarried very early in your pregnancy, then there is no need to wait. You should ask your doctor about this.

There is no way to try to concieve with twins. It happens on its own, or it doesn't. Your chances of having twins are higher if twins run in your mom's family. Your chances are also higher if you are on any kind of fertiilty drug. But there is no way to 'make' this happen, regardless.

Best wishes!

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I do not know of anything that you can do that would increase your chances of twins other than drugs. However, I did have twins after a miscarriage.
I had a miscarriage in Dec 2001 at 12 weeks and a DNC at 13 weeks. It had taken 10 months to concieve the baby. My doctor said that I could start trying with my next cycle.
A friend recommended that I buy an ovulation kit. My cycle started in January. We followed the instructions of the ovulation kit. On February 13th I took a pregancy test and was pregnant. I went to the doctor a few days later and discovered I was carring twins.

I would also call the doctor to make sure they don't want you to wait before trying to conceive again. When you are ready I would use a free online ovulation calendar that can tell you what your fertile days are. I would also take prenatal vitamins beginning now and maintain a healthy diet. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

please check with your doctor on when you should try to conceive. Many times they want you to wait until several cycles resume before you try to get pregnant again. I am sorry for your loss.
