Trying a New Church

We go there and I find Pastor Allen very inspiring. It is a non denominational church. He teacher the bible very well and it is easy to adapt in everyday life. And the teachings stays on and remembered when I come across difficult situations in my everyday life. Check out their website, www.calvaryaustin.org

I would concur on Hill Country Bible Church in Pflugerville. My husband (and many others) are part of the worship team there and it is wonderful. They have many programs for the entire family, some of which are starting in a matter of days on parenting, life, etc...so, lots of great support. We enjoy the worshipful music and Pastor Danny Box. His teachings are meaningful, loving and to the point. May you find the place that speaks to your heart...T. and family

Don't know about that one, but Hill Country Bible Church is in Pflugerville and Round Rock. It's agreat bible teaching church that may fit your needs.

I don't know much about that church but if you are lookin for one with a lot of children activities and bible study you might want to check out Pflugerville First Baptist. We've been attending there about 9 years now. During service they bring out a band with up beat music about 1/2 way through the music and you can tell that God gives our pastor the right words to say. For Children's activities well they are endless. From going to a baseball games to mission trips, to Awanas, to children's choir, to Operation Christmas Child and more that we haven't even gotten to yet. My son is 6, 7 in less than a month and he loves it. This year he was old enough for VBS and was teaching me the songs and telling me about their lesson. I know as they get older there is even more. If you'd like to try it out and need someone to sit with let me know. I'd be glad to meet up with you and show you around and introduce you to people. When we first moved here we tried several churches and Pflugerville FBC just felt like home. It's a large church but it has teh small church feel to it. I'm still amazed when crisis hits anywhere how quickly our church pulls together to help. My father recently traveled to the Valley with several church members to help the flood victims. When my parents both fell very ill other church members brought dinner every night for a week and even offered to help around the house. Sorry I could go on and on. I've been a member of many different churches and never really felt apart of it but there was just something about Pflugerville First Baptist that was different. Well I'll pray for you on your decision on finding a new home church and if you'd like to visit Pflugerville FBC I will be more than happy to save you some seats.

We used to go to Calvery church when it started on Parkfield years ago. We like the church and would have continued going had we not moved out to Cedar Park. It's a good, strong non-denominational church with a really good modern Christian rock-sounding music band. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try a church with a modern flavor.
