Trouble Conceiving After Miscarriage
I suffered a miscarriage in October. In December I started what I thought was a period, it lasted a month and a half. Come to find out I had endometritis(not to be confused with endometriosis), infection in the lining of my uterus, I was given an antibiotic. It stopped on Jan 29th and I still have not started again, I have had negative pregnancy tests. So my question is could I be pregnant or am I not ovulating? Suggestions would be great?
(to those that already posted a response, I did call my obgyn and I was told to wait a couple of weeks before we did anything else)

You should go to the Dr. From what I understand on endometriosis that could be a side effect of it since I have heard it leaves scar tissue that could be why you are not menstrating. Either way you should go to the gyn and talk to him or her about what is going on.
Hope it all works out for you.

after my miscarriage it took about 6 months to ovulate again (I choose not to have a D&C - for health reasons). So, I know it's hard expecially when you are trying so hard and time is something you feel like you don't have a lot of but time is the only cure for this. The endometritis is going to make things go longer as well....(not sure why but it just does). Just keep working with your dr.

Wow! I'm sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I've been through two miscarriages, so I know how hard it can be.
Answer to your question... If after this long you are still not getting a positive pregnancy test, I would say it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. Those tests are usually pretty accurate at just a few weeks after conception and this far into it, they would definitely show a line if you are pregnant.
If you haven't had a period, you probably have not ovulated... or have only recently ovulated. Your period should always come 14 days after ovulation.
Have you called your doctor? If you are concerned, give him/her a call. That is what they are there for.
My guess is that your system needed a rest and after a few months, will be ovulating again.

It sounds like you just need to wait a while & let nature take it's course. In your trying you may not be giving your body a chance to heal & recover...it will all happen in HIS time. Stay prayerful, good luck to you & God Bless!

These days it could be anything plus the fact that you are stressin over getting pregnant. Let me tell you to jus relax. no matter what is goin on around you, you must find time to relax and take advantage of the goodness surrounding you. then I promise things will line up and fall into place where your body is concernd. stress on the body plays a key factor in you physical and mental health. so in the next two weeks I pray you lax and kick back as much as possible and believe me...I know. Jesus is our healer and we can only create in peace. take care.
