Treatments for Sun-damaged Skin

I'm looking for a GOOD plastic surgeon/aesthitician (sp?) in the McKinney/Frisco/Plano area who performs fotofacials or other procedures to remove freckles and hyperpigmentation from sun damage. Also any info on pricing would be helpful!

What can I do next?

Hi B.. Have you tried Arbonne International's anti-aging skin care system yet? It's called NutriMinC RE9. It includes a hydrating wash, misting toner, transforming gelee lift (facelift in a bottle), serum, eye cream, and day and night creams. I moved here from Oregon about 2 years ago when I was 28. I really started seeing my skin change when it was exposed to the Texas weather. I could really see my freckles (sun spots), fine lines and crows feet showing up. Even my mom commented on the turn for the worse that my skin had taken! Anyway, out of courtesy to a friend, I tried the NutriMinC system for a few days. I could definitely see an immediate improvement in my skin! I called her and got the system right away. I didn't even want to put anything else on my face after that! Obviously I love it, and I really think it might work for you too. I'd love to give you some samples to try to see if you love it as much as me. If you're interested, you can visit my website at: www.mandyolsen.myarbonne.com. You can contact me there. I loved the products so much that I started sharing them with my own friends and family. So much fun! Good luck finding something that works for you.
Take care,
M. O.

Hello B.! I highly recommend Dr. Patrick Pownell, Plano, ###-###-####, www.pownell.com, and his Simply Skin Medspa.

I just recently had a skin cancer removed and grafted from my face. Dr. Pownell has done a beautiful job restoring my skin!

Best Wishes,

Hi B.. I work for dr brandt skincare, which is exclusively sold at Nordstrom and Sephora. You need to check out Laser Lightning (hydroquinone free) morning and night, along with SPF 30 every day. You'll notice a change after 15 days. You should also use microdermabrasion in a jar 2 x week by dr brandt. He is a practicing celebrity dermatologist. Nordstrom Stonebriar is having a facial event on 1/19 and 1/20. You should call ###-###-#### to schedule an appointment for a complimentary peel and facial. Thanks! J.

I have used Clinic Esthetica in McKinney for laser hair removal, but they also do all sorts of skin care procedures. Their prices seem very fair. I have been very impressed with them. Their number is ###-###-####

Good Luck!

Photo facials can be very pricey! Microdermabrasion is another route to take. You can purchase packages to keep costs down, and it is a process that consists of treatments week to week until you reach your skin care goal. There are many benefits other that just reducing the apperance of sun damage. Sun spots are caused by our bodys producing more melanin to protect ourselves from the sun, a change that happens in the dermal layer. It can take time to reverse the production of melanin. Please take a look at my website and call me if you have any questions, i love sharing my knowledge! Thanks, L. www.beautymarkboutique.com

Talk to Spa O2 on Legacy and Hwy 121 in Frisco. I have had several facials and massages there and have been very impressed with them. It is not a resular spa. They tend to lean more toward medical aesthetics ranging anywhere from laser hair removal to a tummy tuck. I would venture to say they perform photofacials as well. I have never found them to be unprofessional. I have also never left dissatisfied with their service.
