Traveling to Houston - Things to See and Do
Does anyone know of any tourist things to do in Houston for teen girls? My daughter is attending a convention at Hilton Americas and they will have some free time and would like to see some attractions nearby that our unique to the area. Any suggestions?
Added: What's so special about these malls, that they can't find at the ones located within 20 miles of their homes? I know I can look at a website, which I've already done. The aquarium sounds interesting, and different than the ones located in CT, I'd just like some suggestions from people who have actually been there. Thank you.

I was going to suggest NASA space center, but then again you did say teen girls. So I would have to say the Galleria Mall.

There is the museum district, the aquarium restaurant is neat, the atmosphere is nice but I wasn't too crazy about the food, the galleria is a really neat mall, its just a really big mall, the zoo is beautiful.

All malls are the same - although the galleria has an ice rink, which is cool

um........ we have great malls....lol Most of our stuff is either good for kids or adults. Definitely hit up galleria or memorial city mall (they are the two best)

Go to a tourist website for Texas or Houston and see what is going on while they will be there.
