Train Whistle
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy train whistles in the Katy/West Houston area?
Thanks!
So What Happened?™
I found 6" wooden train whistles for $0.49/ea at christiandollarstore.com. After s/h, they whistles were about $0.79/ea. I ordered on a Friday morning and promptly received them on Monday morning - how's that for service? And the interesting thing is, the whistles are the same kind sold at Oriental Trading Company for $0.83/ea before s/h.

I live in Cypress and bought one for my son at Dollar Tree right by 290 and Spring Cypress. Try your nearest Dollar Tree store, they are usually where all the toys are. Hope this helps you!

I don't know here in town but you could always try the antique type stores or look on Ebay. Sometimes when they have the downtown festivals, etc. they have woodworker type booths that may sell stuff like that. But if you're needing one right now, you may hafta look on Ebay if no replies here.

When my son was younger, we bought one at Gymboree. It's been a few years, but you might give them a try. If you make it to the zoo area, they have them at the new train ride in Hermann Park. We did just get one there last summer.

I just saw them at Imaginarium Toys so try any trendy toy store like that...or I've even seen them at Big Lots off Jones and 1960 (more NW Houston but maybe there's one your direction as well. Hope this helps.
