Toysrus Rewards
My dad purchased a swingset for my kids, we were thrilled, he lives far away and unfortunately we aren't all that close. He must have signed up for ToysrusRewards. Yesterday in the mail he sent me coupons that he had recieved from toysrus, At the top of the page is his rewards membership number, the coupons say you have to have the number to use the coupons. Does anyone know if I can use these? i guess i'm asking if they are transferable??? I don't want to try to use them and then need to show id or somethign and not have it match, I"m not out to cheat anybody, but there is one coupon for $5 off any purchase that i would love to use. And I know my dad won't go into TRU again. I didn't even know TRU had this program.
anyone know anything about this??

When your Dad signed up, they would have given him a credit-card size card plus several keychain tags. If he still has any of them, maybe he can send you one of the tags so you can use it when you check out.

Hi K., I have the rewards card too but never have it on me. They only ask for my phone #. So when they ask just give them your dads #. ;)

If your Dad doesn't want/need the rewards membership, maybe he can give you the card. You can go online to ToysRus.com, and click on "Rewards R Us" then update all the info there. You can switch the address where the coupons are sent to yours. All you need is the membership number to sign in online. Or you can create your own account online too.
Happy shopping!

Personally I would just ask your Dad for the card. That way you can use it for purchases, but then he'd have to send the coupons to you. It might be better for you to sign up for the card yourself- it's FREE!!
I'd imagine the coupons are transferrable...I know they didn't ask me for ID or anything, but I used my rewards card at checkout.
Each time you make a purchase you aquire "points", once you spend so much you earn these coupons. I don't think there would be anything wrong with using the coupon w/ or w/o a card.

The Rewards R Us program is great. They send out coupons periodically based on your purchases. When you spend a certain amount of money you get $5 towards any purchase. The card works in both Toys R Us and Babies R Us. It is totally free. I don't know if you still have little ones in diapers, but if you buy 9 packs of Huggies or Pampers diapers you get a coupon for 1 free! Good deal! When you go to redeem the coupon just give the phone number that the card is under. It's sort-of like the grocery stores cards in that they can look it up with phone number.

I am a rewards customer. I used my coupons and they asked me for my card. I did not have it so I gave them the phone number I used and they looked it up asked me if it was me and away I went with savings. Just ask your dad what number he used and when your at the register you have to tell them to look it up...and all should be fine. You should sign up next time your there and those purchases count....Good Luck!!! Happy Holidays...
