Toys for Tots

Hi Mamas,
We just found a bag of toys that we had collected for Toys for Tots. Does anyone know if they are still collecting? If not, any suggestions in the Carrollton area on who may be able to use these at this late date?

Yes, I know that Toys for Tots are still collecting....my friends work one of the distribution spots in Irving...contact me if you want to get the toys to Toys for Tots!

I would suggest the Childrens Hospital or PICU of a hospital - it is very depressing to be in hospital for the holidays and getting gifts really brightens their day!

I would try Metrocrest Social Services. I know they collect items for families in need.

How generous you are.........my suggestion is to find a shelter for women of domestic violence.....the holidays are the worst (I speak from experience) and these women leave with little for themselves and their children..........Merry Christmas!

If you don't find anyone, I volunteer for the Samaritan Inn in McKinney and we are in the process of fixing up their playroom which only has broken old toys. I would be willing to pick them up and I will give you the volunteer supervisor name and # so you can confirm that we really are involved with their playroom and playground maintenance.
