Toys for Big Boys

What are you mamas getting your husbands for Christmas?! I always get mine the same thing every year. Clothes. He never buys them for himself and quite frankly, I am good at picking the stuff out for him! But I want to get him something fun this year. We purchased a wii game for our boy and my husband can hardly contain his excitement in anticipation of playing it with him. So, what kind of toys have you purchased for your hubby?

Also, my husband was thumbing through a magazine and saw a towel warmer and mentioned how nice that would be. Would you ever get that for your husband? I don't know if it is actually something he "wanted" or if he was just talking out loud. I am bad at this! I need your help. I am looking to spend no more than $250 or so, as I have already spent $200 on clothes!

ETA: (I am spending a lot this year because most years we don't buy for each other. I am spoiling him this year!)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Oooh - blu ray is a good idea. Any suggestions for those, like where to buy, things to look for, etc. He always does all of the electronics purchases in the house so I have no clue what I am doing in that area.

Regarding the wii, we have already purchased our little man so many things, it wouldn't make sense for me to get more for dad. The stuff for the boy will be used by daddy and son. =)

I am giving my husband a new coat and a blue ray dvd player/surround sound for his big tv.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any specific suggestions. I usually go to the electronics store, find the best looking salesman and have him help me pick one :) I also work with a bunch of guys and get their opinion before final purchase.

Why not get him some accessories for the Wii? Of course, you would have to have him open his gifts after your boy does. But that may be a way for him to bond even more with his son. They have lots of neat games out there with accessories. As for the towel rack, I'd bet he was just thinking outloud. Hope you have a nice Christmas!!

Troy likes tools, and stuff for cooking.

Does he hunt?

I have found the perfect gift for guys is something they already wanted but didn't want to spend the money on.

I always feel guilty buying Troy stuff because we like the same things so I end up playing with his toys. Then again if I didn't take it to work with me I am sure my Kindle would make it into his van one morning....

In the past I've gotten him a nice watch and new electric shaver. In a previous relationship a remote control helicopter, plane, or boat was hours on end fun. :-)
