Toddler's First Haircut - Austin,TX

I think it's time for me to take my son for his first haircut. He has super fine wispy blonde hair that needs to be cleaned up over his eyes and ears. I just can't cut off the little curl in the back just yet. :) Any suggestions on where to take a super wiggly 18 month old for a first haircut?

I used to always take a new book and read it during the cut to keep my daughters attention.. The lady that has cut her hair for 18 years says she still keeps kids books at her salon for the parents to read to their kids.Every once in a while I would go with my daughter and read to both of them during the cut... It is like a tradition now..

Adolph's Barber Shop in South Austin gives First Haircut for FREE! Ask for Thresea-she's my mom and is very patient with kiddos and loves doing first hair cuts. Don't forget your camera.

I take my little ones to KAOS (Kids Are Our Specialty). "Jackie" is the best..my son has crazy thick hair & she knows how to make it look good (not like a mushroom is growing on top of his head). My daughter has long hair w/curls in the back & she keeps the curls for me. Both kids love her! They have TVs w/kid movies, books, etc.
