Toddler Swim Diaper

I use Little Swimmers if we're at a public pool or beach. Otherwise, I'll use a regular diaper, which becomes huge after absorbing all the water.

I recommend a swim diaper brand called "Imse Vimse." You can probably get it on any cloth diapering site. If you swim a lot, those Little Swimmers will add up. I bought this brand for my son last year and they work great. They definitly hold in everything, even pee. They are approved for public pools.

I simply used one of the brands of swim diapers if in a public/shared pool. In our back yard - I just used a plastic cloth diaper cover. If my kiddo had loose bowel or tummy troubles, we just didn't swim for a few days to help prevent leaking of sickness stuff.
Never use a real diaper - they blow up - LOL (I learned that nannying before there was such a thing as a "swim diaper)

Many moms are switching to reusable swim diapers since swim diapers very rarely actually get dirty and the Huggies brand is very expensive. There is a store called Babies Bottoms and More in Farmers Branch (www.babiesbottomsandmore.com) that sells a reusable swim diaper called the Bummis Swimmi for $14.50. It velcros on and off for easy clean up if your child has an accident but usually I just hang it out to try with the swimsuits. I only wash it every few weeks (unless it gets pooped in).

I used Imse Vimse reusable swim diaper - bought it from Amazon. It was easy to put on, fit well and held in everything. And I like that it was reusable - less waste than disposable.

I've used both the pampers and huggies brands. Both seem to work fine... though I find that one size smaller than regular diapers works better.

We use huggies brand swim diapers. However, unless your son has really sensitive skin, or other diaper issues, I do not think that it really matters. I have even seen a swimsuit with a built in swim diaper before!

I had Gabbies pool pants that I found used. We liked to swim at least 5 times a week, and disposables were way too expensive.

If we are just in our backyard kiddie pool, I just put my boys in the Huggies Little Swimmers. If we go to a public pool I use the Little Swimmers, plus a plastic diaper cover that I got from a cloth diapering store. I don't trust the swim diapers for containing solids, and most pools have a policy stating that you need both.

My oldest was (still is) very petite. I bought a reusable swim diaper from Target. I think it was only $5 or $6. I had to buy a new one each year as he grew, but they worked great! My youngest is too big for even the biggest size. We've been using Pampers Splashers. Normally we are a Huggies family, but they don't make the swim diaper in a big enough size.

We swim a lot in the summer, and I can honestly say I've only had to wash out a poopy a handful of times. Totally worth it to me to get the reusable kind.

I have used Little Swimmers this summer, last summer I used a reusable cloth swim diaper. I've heard that gymboree has little boy suits that have the diaper already inside.

We use Pampers Little Swimmers under his little bathing suit. Word of warning: swim diapers to not contain the poopies! Get that poopy out ASAP!

I always used the Little Swimmers or the Pampers brand version of them (whichever was the best price at the store).

I always used the washable swim diapers. I started using those because when our daughter took swim lessons at Emler they required these. They actually contain any accidents better than the disposable. I found them at Babies R Us.
