We live in St. Louis Park and just got back from the Splash Pad. It is a little sprinkler park with big canopies and benches. It is free, there is no standing water, and there is a fence around it to keep the little ones close. We love it! It is located just north of highway 7 and east of Texas Avenue. It is located in Oak Hill Park.

Chaska Community Center (on Hwy 5) just opened a brand new area for toddlers. I think they call it a Splash Pad, but it's in the pool area and it's padded. I can't wait to take my 11 mth old son.

Oak Hill Park in St. Louis Park has a sprinkler park. This is a great park for all ages. It has picnic areas, playgrounds, sprinkler park and ice skating in the winter. It's a couple of blocks north and east of Hwy 7 and Texas ave.

I personally love Cascade Bay in Eagan. I've been taking my daughter there for 5 yrs.now. I liked it enough to get a season pass this year. It's not to cheap like $8- adult and $6 dollars for children I think babies are free but not sure what ages. They have a zero depth entry pool that gradually get's deaper, lots of fun sprinkling things and a small slide, small children can slide down like ages 2-10. There is a sandlot, with really cool sand toys, a lazy river your child can sit on your lap or preschooler can share a double tube with you. They have great locker/restrooms and two family restrooms. Locker's concessions etc. There is also plenty to do for older children and adults slides etc. They have tons of lifeguards and take safety very serious. I totally recommend Cascade Bay for all ages.

Bush Lake Beach in Bloomington and Bryant Lake Beach in Eden Prairie are great for little ones, it is not too deep and they have little playgrounds and a sand castle building station.
