Thinking About Getting Bumbo Sitter or Bebe Pod

My daughter is able to hold her head up and seems to enjoy sitting up relatively unsupported (she's 3 months old). I'm just wondering if it would be worth buying one of those little seats that seem to be so great, I'd like to hear what you other moms have to say about them or other ideas for the stage she's in. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I am a home daycare provider and just bought a Bumbo and LOVE it. I am using it for a 4 mo that I take care of and she really enjoys being able to sit up and look around. I think it is great. It wipes off easily if she spits up on it, too.

We have a Bumbo, and we LOVE it! My daughter is 4 months old, and she has been using her Bumbo chair since she was about 2 1/2 months old. She loves to sit up right like everyone else in the room, and the Bumbo allows her to do that!

We bought a Bumbo chair for our daughter and she LOVED it! She had a sense of independence and it freed up my hands to get stuff done. I know they are a little spendy, but it is so worth it!

I'm going to get mocked for this, but...

I'm addicted to my bumbo seat. I've had it for over a year. My little girl is 15 months old and I still occasionally take it out with me. (It works awesome at restaraunts. I used to pop her on the table when she was little and couldnt wiggle out- and she was safe, (right by me,) stationary, and it was SO easy to feed her in little spaces. Now she likes to sit in it to read.

-It's the BEST thing I bought her. The best part? It's been spilled on- mauled, dragged around- and the thing looks brand new.

I brought it to friend's houses to feed her if they didnt have a highchair- (it's so light.) And I brought it with to events outdoors last summer.

Do it! : )

I love, love, love the Bumbo! I got one with my first daughter and now my second daughter is using it. They both love it too! I would deinitely recommend a Bumbo!

I love our Bumbo! What the others said about being difficult to pick up dropped toys is true, but they make a tray for the Bumbo for $10 I think. I don't have the tray and my daughter loves to play in hers anyway. I used it to feed her her first bowl of cereal last night and it worked great!

We have just recently bought the bumbo seat. I reall like it and my daughter seems to like it as well. The only bad part is that if she drops teh toys it's kinda far for her to reach for them but i usually put a nursing pillow around her and use that as a table to put her toys on. I think it's great. it's one of the only ways i can get things done around the house that needs to be done. keeps her very entertained. I highly recommend it.

My 3 year old thinks our friend's baby's Bumbo is awesome, and he still fits in it! :)

I'd say try it out - maybe check craigslist or freecycle to see if you can get one on the cheap.

Have fun!

they are wonderful. it helps me alot because i know shes going to stay there and learn something at the same time. plus now she is on solids so if she is with grandma i can just feed her in there. a lot nicer than hauling the high chair around.

she has used it on and off for the past month and a half and now she is sitting on her own. she just leans forward when she is tired... she is also only 4 and a half months. ... i have the bumbo it just seemed to support her better. its curve is thicker where there belly will be so it doesnt jab there tummy.

i hope that helps :)
