I've read several requests/responses regarding what i guess must be telemarketing from home. Does it really work? How do you do it? How do you know what company to work for . How do you get started , I would love info on this as I know nobody that does this. Thanks C.

What can I do next?

Hi! I can see you've gotten a lot of responses to your post! I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and 10 month old twins and i absolutely LOVE my work at home job. I can help you work from home too, all while being able to spend time with your kids and create a healthier, safer environment! Honestly, telemarketing is not a happy job...most of the time you will be yelled at trying to sell whatever you are selling or hung up on! With my job, there is NO selling, NO inventory, NO parties, and NO investment and you can work while in the comfort of your own home! We are all moms, so what more can you ask for! Just email me for more info at www.themomteam.com/amaus

I heard some horrible things about alpine acess. A friend of mine was fired because a baby was heard crying from an upstairs bedroom. They don't pay much either. I heard they start at $9/hour. Thats horrible to me. I work part time at night when my husband is home at Target for $8. Again, yuky money but we don't have to pay for a sitter and I get out of the house 20 hours/week. Good luck, if you find the perfect, at home job, let me know. I searched and searched and have not found one.

Hi C.,

I saw your request reguarding Home based business. I am a home based travel company. I refer people to my sight and they do all the work and book the travel they need. I make the comission form them using my site. We are linked to travelocity. You make your own hours and the website does all the marketing if you are intrested in traveling like an insider and writing it off you should look into this company. If you log on to www.flywithskye.com you can watch short presentation and it will describe what we do. Or you could come to our weekly meeting an get a 2 night hotel voucher for over 80 locations and there is no obligation all you have to do is come and see what the companny is all about. We have over 3,000 reps here in Nevada.
Thanks,

You want to be a telemarketer? Well I wish you luck in that. Not a whole lot of people like telemarketers. I hope you are prepared to be hated, hung up on, cussed out, and hopefully your potential clients won't find out where you are located. To me, they need to get rid of the telemarketing business. The people in that field have no respect for timing. They call up to 10pm at night. They don't respect your, "no thanks, I don't want any". I had one call me the other night at 8:30pm. I was very polite (and I'm not usually with telemarketers), and asked that he (the caller), not call this late (and told him the time), because I was putting my toddler to bed. He then said, "oh I'm sorry, but since I have you on the phone, can I ask you a few questions?". You know how badly I wanted to reach thru that phone and choke him? How rude! He had no respect for me, for the fact that I was putting my child to bed, and totally disregarded what I had just told him.
This is what I deal with and I have heard other horror stories from friends and families who have encountered telemarketers.
I would like to make other suggestions for you... :-) I would really hate to see you get into telemarketing. From that end, I can only imagine the pressure of having to meet your quota so that you can get paid, and having to deal with the stress of the reactions of the people you try and call...and I think you can do something much more valuable with your time other than this. :-)
Here's what I suggest...Do you like to write? Do you like to come up with cute sayings, or are you poetic? You can start your own business writing, and creating beautiful Cards, ie: Hallmark cards, Shoebox cards...etc. I've started researching this myself. You can Google (starting your own card making business), or go to the American Greetings website and check out what they have to say about submitting your creations. If you are interested in the medical field, you can take classes for Medical Insurance Billing/Coding, which you will have to do internship at a Hospital and within around three months, they could allow you to work at home. They get paid pretty well too.
These are a couple of suggestions for you. Hope this helps. Good luck with what ever you decide. :-)

Hi C. !! I know your request was a couple of months ago, but did you find anything to do of interest.? I can tell you from personal experience, telemarketing is horrible. I've tried it and it really is a lot of people hanging up on you, cussing at you, etc - and if you don't make a certain quota - you're not getting paid... I would never go back to ANY telemarketing job in my life. Been there - done that. I, myself, and still looking for a possible 'something' to do from home - but have to be honest, have not really 'dug in' yet to find something... I hope you were able to find something that works for you - - :)

Hi, You might like to try www.alpineaccess.com I did try this company, but I did not do well with the training (I took too many notes and got confused.) They had a couple of company options to work for, I chose FTD (Florist) They pay you while you are learning, which was a plus, AND if you don't pass the test online, you can try again. They pay really well. You do have to have a quiet room to work in, and a noise canceling headset.

Hope this help, please let me know if you get on with them.
Blessings to you,

C.
I can tell you the one thing I missed on the test was how to figure International shipping codes. So if you get to the part, take the note on that one!

You should look into Network Marketing, which has created more millionaires than any other industry in the world. Avon, MaryKay, Amway/Quixtar are Network Marketing companies.

You should be able to find information on the internet to find a company that fits your needs.

We're with a company called TraVerus Travel Network, which allows us to travel and discounted prices on select travel specials and we also earn 75% of the commission whenever our family and friends book travel on our site. Take a look at our travel site, www.TravelBargainsDirect.com.

Hi there! I just want to tell you about a home based business that is really fun! It is the best thing that has happened to me since becoming a mom. You make your own schedule around your family activities. You are in control of you income.

I do home parties with my lia sophia jewelry. It is the easiest money I have ever made. I truly love this business and the company I represent.

You don't have to be a sales person. You are just sharing the love of the jewelry with people. This comes very easy for me since the jewelry is fabulous!!!

If this sounds interesting, contact me at:
