Yes! My daughter cut teeth that early. Hylands teething tablets and teething gel is great! It helped tremendously! You can get them at Walgreen's, Whole Foods, Central Market and Walmart.

This is a sign of teething. With both of mine, they started showing signs at 2-3 months old. It does not mean that a tooth is going to pop out in a week or so, but they are probablly shifting and starting to move which is causing those symptoms. I use baby oragel and Hyland's Homeopathic Teething Tablets (100% all natural, no side effects, and they dissolve instantly) My pedi recommended them and they also will help them sleep. I still give them to my 2 YO because he is starting to show signs of more teeth (molars) coming in. Their gums will itch a lot, so with a small nubby teether or my finger, i will rub hard back and forth on my 5 MO gums to relieve the itching.

My 2 month old is also drooling alot, waking more in the night, and has had some diahrrea - I had no idea that diahrrea is a sign of teething? So is that what all of these symptoms are of? Let me know what your consensus is on all of this!

My son started these symptoms at 2 months and got his first 2 teeth at the age of 3 1/2 months. He is now 7 1/2 months and has 6 teeth. If you are breastfeeding be careful, because they like to bite. I trained my son not to bite me after a few nasty bites. He no longer does it. He hated the oragel, but loved the teething tablets. And he got lots of tylenol.
Good Luck

My daughter got her first tooth at 2.5 months. She drooled quite a bit. I didn't even know that it was there until someone else showed me. How said, huh? I think it could very well be her teeth coming in.

Both of my daughters began teething symptoms at 4 months and didn't have anything come in until 9 months!! My daughters had cold-like symptoms. Runny nose, irritable--just all around not happy!

Hi M.,
Yes its possible for your little girl to be teething at 2 months. My son started teething when he was 1 month old. His pediatrician didn't believe me until she checked him and confirmed that he in fact was teething at 1 month old. My son is now 27 months and his last set of molars is finally out.
It's always a good idea to check with your pediatrician.
