Hylands teething tablets available at WALMART offer some relief. I like Humphries better but I have never located it here. They are both homeopathic alternatives that work well. Before bed let the baby chew on a clean wet, than frozen washcloth.

Hyland's Teething Tablets work wonders! I got some upon the advice of the mamas here, and they have been a lifesaver. I give the tablets if my LO is extremely fussy before a nap or bedtime.

Liquid calcium for the kids. Sometimes when a child needs more calcium, this causes more pain with teething. At www.herbsfirst.com, you can find something called Kid-E-Calc and you can rub it on their gums and this will help. This way, they are getting the calcium and you are getting into them quickly.

Clove oil does numb any area it touches, but it is a 'hot' oil, so I wouldn't use it on the baby at this time.

I am using an amber teething necklace. it's a natural remedy sold in French pharmacies. it really work! they say that with the warmth of the skin, amber releases some oil which is soothing for teething pain. i found a company here in the states that sells it : www.SuperMamaonline.com
