Tailor in the Elmhurst Area

I don't know one in Elmhust but I do know of one in Palatine she is not far off of Rand and 53. She has been written up in the paper for her work. She does an amazing job and she is very reasonable. She works out of her home. She been a designer, dressmaker for over 30 years

You won't regret the 20-30 minute drive.

If it is not too far a drive for you there is a nice place called Verlare Cleaners on Grand Ave. in Franklin Park

They are very good with alterations and it never takes a long time at all. I had them alter many of suits and Dresses for Weddings and Prom.

I don't have a recommendation - but based on what the previous poster said, there is a Verlare Cleaners in Elmhurst too - At York Rd and Vallette (near the farmers' market area). You could call and check if they are a branch of the other one.

I do not know the name of the place, but my sister and I use one in Elmhurst. It's on the West side of York Rd., maybe the 2nd or 3rd tennant North of the tracks. If I can find the name I will let you know!
