I'm looking for a booster seat to go on top of my wooden kitchen chairs. There are so many!! I need it not to slide and for my 2 y/o to be able to climb up and down by herself. Any recommendations?? Thanks!

What can I do next?

I have a fisher price one for my toddler. It straps on to the chairs. It comes with a tray so we used it as a high chair when he was younger and now removed the tray and pushed it up to the table. My son can't get in it by himself but he is pretty short for his age. you can find it for $20 at walmart.

We just bought a BabySmart Cooshee booster and we LOVE it!
It is a tad pricey ($40), but I had one of those Babies R Us 20% off coupons so that helped a lot. It is totally worth the price regardless.
It doesn't strap onto the chair or anything, but it ends up sort of forming a suction so it stays put on wooden chairs perfectly.
It is so comfortable for our son and he adores it.
Best of all, MADE IN AMERICA.

Ditto the cooshee booster. I was gifted one for my kids and loved it!
It was also easy to pack and take to dinner out of home or to in laws, etc.

We have the Booster POD and have liked it a lot! It is confortable, and still has the straps to keep it stable on the chairs. It's easy to take to other places too, when necessary.

I have a great booster seat that I was about to recommend, but as I looked for a link for you I discovered that it has been recalled! Well I have not had any problem with it and we have used it pretty much nonstop for 6 years. So I'll tell you what features I like about it and maybe you can find something similar. It is easy to take apart and put back together-- including the straps. This has been valuable when it comes to cleaning it thoroughly. It folds up, which is fabulous for things like taking it to Grandma's house for Thanksgiving. The seat height is adjustable. Good luck in your search!

We have an inflatable one that I think is Safety First. It's portable and has two straps - one for around the back and one under the seat. You have to adjust it now and then, but it's been useful for DD. We kept it on a chair in the kitchen for a long time.

i got one from walmart, its not on their site, but it is solid pink (they have other colors) it is all one piece which means no pieces for her to grab & break while climbing up & down & also easy cleanup! it has straps that go around the seat but also has grips on the bottom so I dont have a problem with it sliding. I love it more than the other 2 boosters we have used & broken & it was the cheapest one lol
