When my children were small the doctors had me slowly switch from formula to regular milk. I would mix 1/4 milk with 3/4 formula for about a week then go 1/2 and 1/2 and so on until they were just drinking milk.

Start weaning her by mixing formula and milk (whole milk) 3/4 formula 1/4 milk, for a week or so, then go half and half for a week or so, and then 1/4 formula 3/4 milk for a week or so and then you can put her on straight milk. Whole milk though until she is 2 years old. Her developing brain needs the fat cells that are found in whole milk. Good luck

What I did when my kids needed to switch to milk was to mix the milk in with their formula. You need to use whole milk with a child who's under 2 to insure they still get enough fat.
Start by substituting 2 oz of milk in each bottle (so, 6 oz formula, 2 oz milk for an 8 oz bottle) for two weeks. The next two weeks, make the bottle half milk, half formula. Continue adding more milk every two weeks until you are no longer using formula.
When you add the milk, make sure it is a little cooler than the formula (if you feed warm bottles) so that a cold milk bottle won't be strange to your daughter. This method worked very well with my kids and was recommended by their doctor at the time.

Give Her milk in a cup, at meals. It will make the transition easier. But then you can start to weed the bottle out as well with the milk. Reassure her she is a big girl and only babys get a baba. It helps.

all you have to do is put an ounce of formula to 7 ounces of milk at a time ina bottle and then once the baby is used to that do 2 onces of formula to 6 ounces of milk and so on and so forth to get used to the change...thats what i did with my son and it worked just fine.
i hope i helped

Start mixing 2 oz milk 6 oz formula, Do this for a few days then increase it 4oz milk to 4oz formula for a few days then 6oz milk to 2 oz formula, for few days then start giving just milk in a sippy cup.Thats the right way to do it.. What I did for my kids was I just did half and half for a week or so and they were fine with it.
any way you do it is ok because regular formula is milk based, (if she is on regular formula).
Just make sure you get baby vitamins from the DR. to replace the vitamins in the formula

My suggestions is a little different than these others, but it worked for us so I figured I'd throw it in the mix :) When we switched my son over from formula to milk we started by substituting one bottle of formula for a sippy cup of milk. Eventually he was only drinking formula in his morning and bedtime bottles and all day long he was drinking sippy cups of milk. Then we lost the morning bottle and he was down just to the bedtime bottle of formula. It's still a gradual technique, just a little different. I know not all kids take well to the taste of milk though so if that's the case the other suggestions sound like the way to go. Hope this helps! Good luck!
