Swimming Lessons for 3 Year-old

I am in Sandy Springs. I need an inexpensive but good swimming program for my son. I want him to learn to swim before summer. If anyone has had a good experience with a local swim class please let me know - thanks!

What can I do next?

I had great luck with Sarah's School of Fish in Smyrna. I live in Buckhead, but it was well worth the drive. Check out the website: http://www.ssfish.net/

hi R.! we take out 17 month old to the east cobb ymca. i have looked a variety of places and it is the cheapest i have found so far. it's an ok program but, for the purposes of a 17-month old it is fine. she's just learning to be comfortable in the water and the basics. however, once she gets older and needs to really learn some better skills as a swimmer, i think i would pay more to send her to a more structured program with less children. i'm not sure where your son is with swimming but, if he's just learning, i think the "Y" is fine. I also think in his age group, the classes are smaller which would be good. sorry for putting in my two cents but, i hope that helps.

Hi R.! I have used Atlanta Swim Academy in the past and have been really happy with them. They are located on Johnson Ferry Rd just north of Lower Roswell. Their website is http://www.atlantaswimacademy.com/ and has a ton of info in classes and etc. My daughter took two sessions in a row and by the end of the second session she had drastically improved. Good luck!

I live in Alpharetta and the best program we have used it the YMCA. You don't have to be a member to take swimming lessons.
