Swim Suit

Hello! I plan on taking my baby to swim classes this summer and am wondering where I can find a cute swimsuit. Classes won't begin until July, but by then fall clothes will be in the stores! I have spent a lot on swimsuits in the past, only to go to back to Old Navy bikinis. I am in good shape and don't mind wearing bikinis, but I wonder if that's inappropriate for a baby swim class?? I am tall and thin, with small breasts, and one-pieces tend to look bad on me. Ideas on types of swimsuits and wear to buy them?

What can I do next?

As long as it's a modest two piece I'd say that's fine and what I mean by that is not all flashy with your boobs hanging out or a thong for bottoms.

If I could wear a two piece I totally would

I had my daughter in swim lessons and we go to the water park ALOT and I see alot of one and two pieces most mom's have tasteful swimsuits and aren't walking around with their stuff hanging out LOL.....

If your really nervous I would do a bikini top and like board shorts or those short like binkini bottoms.

If I were you, I would wear a bikini shorts set-- (swim shorts on bottom bikini top). You could try Macy's and Everything but Water at MOA... I also like kohl's. :-)

Try tyr.com. They have cute 2 piece sporty bikinis. If you're a lifetime fitness member, you get 40% off. Hurry, sizes are selling out fast. Good luck.

Great job on the body!! however, babies can get grabby so be ready for your top to be pulled in many directions. I found that (although some are grandma like)Lands End on 494 have a pretty good selection of suits. The tankinis are great-they come in different top lengths. Good luck

S., go for it! If you are tall and thin and in good shape, why not! I did swimming with my little girl and lots of the Mom's wore bikinis - and most of them should not have! Enjoy the lessons, they are a lot of fun. (We went to Wise Swim School in Apple Valley, and have been there ever since - 3 years now.)

I think it is fine to wear a bikini, as long as it is tasteful. Good for you for being able to!
