Swim Lessons/Team

Does anyone have a suggestion for a place to take my boys (11 & 7) for swim lessons or even a swim team. They both swim pretty well, I'd like to get them into lessons to perfect their strokes. Mainly I'm wanting this for some physical activity. I'd rather not have to pay an arm and a leg for this. We live in NW Olathe so Lenexa, Olathe or Overland Park would work,

Thanks

What can I do next?

Johnson County Parks n Rec has a program called "Off the Block" that is reasonable, works the strokes well and prepares them for the summer swim team. We have used it many, many winters, and the cost is actually quite reasonable.
Olathe also has a city swim team, they compete against Lenexa, Merriam, Overland Park, Shawnee...etc. I don't know their costs, I know Merriam is very reasonable. It is fun! They also have dive teams as well.
Good luck!

I took my 4 year old daughter to 68's Inside Sports for swim lessons. She took a beginner swim lesson so I'm not sure what they offer for advanced lessons, but it was very reasonably priced. It's located at the intersection of Hwy 69, I-35 and 87th St.

We had my son in swim lessons then "pre-swim team" at the local county recreation center. Pre-swim team was for kids that know enough they've graduated from the lessons, but gives them a chance to work on stroke improvement and gives them an hour of swim time. The coaches (college kids usually) would give them tips on stroke improvement too.
So I'd suggest you see if your county has a recreation center.

Elite Gymnastics and Aquatics at 108th and Pflumm in Lenexa they have small classes or even personal lessons as well. My girls love it there.
