Swim Lessons for Toddler & Pre-school Age

I sent my kids to this woman named Angela McCootra (sp?) - she taught lessons at Notre Dame College. She wasn't associated with the college but taught private lessons there. She took my son who wouldn't touch the water to a boy that would dive under her legs in the pool at 4 years of age within a few months. Great thing, I could swim laps there while they were in class. She is a little direct but kids respond to it. She rewards with candy at the end.

I had my then 1 year old son take swim lessons through the YMCA. The have a very flexible schedule, and their prices are resonable. Also check some community centers-I know SELREC (south euclid-lyhdhurst) had lessons and you didn't have to live in the community.

Life Center Plus in Hudson has a great swimming program for young children. I know they have evening and weekend classes and you don't have to be a member.

Try the YMCA.....I know there is one in Bedford. You have to join but then there are different programs the kids can do besides swimming.

Take your toddlers to the YMCA or your recreation center. They both have great learn to swim programs. Since you live in Auora I am sure they have a YMCA near you.
