Sunscreen for 11 Month Old with Excema
Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone out there can recommend a sunscreen to use on a 11 month old with excema? He has very sensitive skin and uses Aveeno products and medicated stuff for his excema. I couldn't find any Aveeno sunscreen. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I use Vanicream by PSI. It's available online at www.psico.com. It's pricey, but worth it. My dermatologist recommended it for me and for use on my son when he was an infant - even younger than 6 months.
I have also used Alba Botanicals on my son and it doesn't seem to bother him.
Good luck!

Aveeno JUST came out with sunscreen - I bought one for faces / sensitive skin and used it today on my 2 year old (very sensitive skin) - so far so good! I got it in Stop & Shop (Glastonbury)! Good luck - J.

Hi D.,
How about trying "skin effects" by Dr. Jeffery Dover. It comes in SPF 45 and protects against UVA & UVB's. You can but it at CVS. FYI, it's great stuff for sensitive skin, but not waterproof, so you have to reapply often. Stay away from the children's products that turn funny colors, the dye in them really aggravates eczema. Good luck!

I use California Baby products on my kids. My nephew had bad excema and food allergies and he did very well with it. You can get it at whole foods or order it online.

Aveeno makes baby sunscreen Walmart carries it. My son has eczema and recommended nutrigena for sensitive skin sunscreen.
