Summer Gymnastics Camp

My 8 yr old step-daughter will be with us for 2 weeks this summer. We both work, so we need to find a day camp for her for one of the weeks. She really likes gymnastics, but other than that, she's not very athletic, so I don't think she would like the normal YMCA or Lifetime Fitness camps. Anyone know of a gymnastics camp or a day camp that is AT a gymnastics center? We live in Carrollton and work in Plano and Addison.

What can I do next?

My daughter goes to ASI Gymnastics in Allen. They do have locations all over. I am sure they have summer camps.

I don't know of one that is at a gymnastics center, but Plano parks and recreation always offers gymnastics day camps in the summer. We have sent our 7 year old for the past 3 years and she loves it. It is mostly gymnastics, but they also do crafts and play in the water as well.

The City of Plano offers a number of different fun camps during the summer that aren't sports related if that's not her thing. There's a nature camp that my 9 year old went to last year and loved. There's also one called Kid Kapers that is just general fun and games and crafts.

You might also want to check and see if Carrollton parks and recreation has similar programs.

Good luck! I know scheduling summer activities is difficult.

They have multiple location. My son likes the camp.

WOGA in Plano (Parker/Custer) has summer camps. Try them out. They are a lot of fun

Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen off of Bethany has a full summer of week long camps. They also have some that include swim lessons as well. We love the gym and the teachers are very nice and knowledgeable. It is family owned.
