I live in Keller, TX. My son is 9 years old. His school is closed for summer vacation. I am looking for some nice day care for him where he can go until his school starts. Can you suggest something nice and not too expensive?

What can I do next?

You could also check out this web site that offers lists of child care providers. For a small fee you can have someone do the initial leg work for you:)
I send my son to Camptivity and he LOVES it. They have one in southwest fort worth and one in Azle. I don't know if either of those work for you based on work or community path, but thought I'd offer that, too!

I second the Northpark YMCA. My grand children (girls 6 and 12) love it. They go on field trips swim and have activities all through out the day. It is a new facility so very clean and have a great staff. When the children are in the pool they have several life guards on duty in and out of the pool to insure they are safe.

Northpark YMCA daycamp is $110 a week for members, I think it's $140 for non-members. I've been very impressed with them. Well organized, the kids are active, excellent supervision, both my kids (6 & 8) have had a blast there this summer. You probably won't find much cheaper than that; Keller Pointe daycamp is $150/wk for non-members; ASI gymnastics is $170/wk for full day care if you pay in advance, it's more at the door; Texas Tumblers does offer camp for $75/wk, but I didn't feel it was well supervised and I wasn't comfortable after one week there. Harvest church also has a daycamp that I've heard great things about, but it's in the $160/wk range
