Summer Camps for Toddlers

Hi, I am looking for some summer camps for my 4 year old to attend. He will be starting VPK in August and I want him to get used to being away from me prior to starting school. Does anyone know of any camps n the Wesley Chapel area?

What can I do next?

J.,

All of my kids have gone to the summer camps offered at MOSI in Temple Terrace. For the youngest (2-3) they are Mommy and Me classes. For the rest there are half day classes or you can do 2 half days to make a full day. We have been going for the past 5 years and my kids all love them. You get a huge discount for becoming a member of MOSI and there is also a multi child discount and I believe a multi camp discount too! Good Luck.

Check out The LIttle Gym. They are great.

We are members there regularly but they also run summer camps. It is also quite resaonably priced.

Each camp runs for a week, each has a different theme, and you can pick what or how many days you would like them to go and pay accordingly.

My daughter LOVES the Little Gym, we go to the one on N Dale Mabry but there are a few of them around.

Hi J. - New River Academy is offering a Summer Camp this year with a lot of planned activities for ages 4 through 14, beginning June 9th. They also offer VPK - 8th Grade. The school is located at 4210 Ernest Drive in Wesley Chapel and the phone number is ###-###-####. My son attended school there for a couple of years and we were very pleased. Good Luck!

My Gym (by Seven Oaks) runs some camps in the summer. My son was 4 last year and loved it. It was for 3 hrs per day so it wasn't too long. He also did a camp at Mosi and went to VBS which a lot of the churches offer. It might be fun if he could sign up with a friend so it is not as scary being away from you. Good luck and have fun.

The YMCA also offers summer camp programs for little ones. I belong to the Y in New Tampa and we LOVE it!! Good luck!
