Summer Camps - Plano,TX

I have a very happy and active 13 years old. I would like to find activities for her during summer months. I would like a combination of fun and educational activities. Plano or Dallas is fine.

The City of Carrollton has several camps to choose from. I know they will be enrolling starting May 1 for residents and May 15 for non-residents. I work for the HR department there and know alot of these college kids who run the camps and they are wonderful. You can see the list on www.cityofcarrollton.com and look for the leisure connections magazine link. The new one just came out this week. Hope this helps!

Dear R.~

If you are looking for a "different" summer camp - I am hosting a week long Summer Scrapbook Camp from June 16-23rd. Monday thru Friday 9 am to Noon. If this seems like something you or your kids would be interested in, drop me an email at ____@____.com I'll be gone for the weekend/checking mail Monday morning if you don't hear from me.

Sincerely,

We send our kids (including a 12 year old) to camps sponsored by Plano Parks & Recreation. They are fun and not too expensive. Below is the link to the online catalog.

Good luck!
