Check on dallaschild.com...they have a searchable database for summer camps. Chestnut Square has a really cool-sounding cooking class that focuses on produce from the Farmer's Market, but they also have a prairie type camp that involves some art projects, too.

Check out the McKinney Parks & Recreation they have some great summer activities for kids that include some arts and crafts - they may have art camps as well. You can access them through www.mckinneytexas.org

Hi P.,
You may also check North Texas kids magazine located at all Tom Thumb stores free of charge or medical offices. They also have an online version of all the camps available coming up this summer. Go to www.northtexaskids.com Also they have calendars with all kinds of activities for families and kids. I hope this helps!

There are a bunch of classes, including art, being hosted at the McKinney Performing Arts Center http://www.mckinneyperformingartscenter.org/frameset.asp?...

Stacy's Art Studio in Mckinney has summer camps, and that is where my daughter goes. I do not know if they take children older than 5, but it's worth checking into it. They are wonderful! Also the art house in Mckinney offers programs that I know are for older children, I think ages 6 to 10.
I hope this helps! Good luck!!
