You will probably get bombarded with different options. I wanted to throw something out that you may not have considered, network marketing. By working along side your current job and children you can build extra income. You can do this is many ways and I found that this was different that what I thought. I have a business with Arbonne International. We have many health care providers who have started and grown successful Arbonne businesses. The focus on health and wellness with this company along with your expertise as a nurse could be a great fit.

If you would like more information about what this is and how it works, I am happy to provide you with it without pressure or expectation. Good luck to you.

As you have heard, network marketing is the up and coming option, especially for stay at home moms. I am also a nurse and work part time at a local peds office. I am also an independent consultant with Arbonne International. I have found that using my nursing experience is a great fit with this company. I work my business in between daily activities. We are a health and wellness company and have a very competitive compensation program. The products are botanically- based and Vegan. If you are interested in hearing more or trying the products first, I would love to help you out. Just give me a call or email me. Best of luck.

Hello Cathy :

What a great idea to work from home. But nurse is a great profession too. So you will have the best of two worlds.
I can say you choose the best.

I feel, your best and easiest, work from home that does not require any training and gives you almost decent money is,
medical transcription ot medical billing.

In case you are tired of doing the same thing again and again and need a change then think of other things.

Saving the earth, working with green products, wellness industry, and internet business are very popular. Internet business, you do not have to have a product that is hard to ship, in order to sell and make money. You may sell information products to make money and the business can be automated.

Options are endless, just find your passion and start looking. Make it your baby, and you will succeed.

Good luck

Hi C.,
I quit my full time job in January 08 to stay home with my kids, in Febuary of that year I became a Mary Kay consultant. I really enjoy it because I can run my business as needed. Meaning, that if I need a extra cash (like when my fridge broke) I work a couple more hours that week/month plus I schedule appts when my hubby can watch our daughters to eliminate the day care cost. The tax breaks are also fantastic because I run my business from my home. I am not a "high pressure" sales type, I instead chose to service my clients on their terms and that has, in my case, been very successful. I live in Plainfield and would be happy to treat you to a complimentary facial where you can try Mary Kay products to see if this would be something you may enjoy. I find great satisfaction in helping other Moms put their best faces forward. I am a stay at home mom please feel free to call me at any time my cell is ###-###-####. Hi C.
I'm also a nurse and work only weekends in a hospital,so my kids can be home with dad and we don't have to use daycare. I have a couple of friends who do case management from home. One works for a company dealing with workmans comp., and the other works for an insurance company. Just a thought, good luck!

I know you will get many more responses to your question but wanted to tell you about a company, Votre Vu that is getting ready to celebrate its one year anniversary and is just full of opportunity and costs very little to get started. Votre Vu has brought the secrets of French womens' beautiful skin to the US through its products. The products were previously used in exclusive European spas and salons and are fabulous. The brand is catching on quickly and will continue to do so because people are loving them. You may visit my website (www.votrevu.com/sallybriar) to learn more on your own and I'd also like to invite you to an informational meeting on 9/15. We live very close to one another so it would also be very easy to get together for coffee. I hope you will consider this for yourself because Votre Vu will skyrocket because of its leadership and products. Please let me know your thoughts. I share but don't pressure anyone to do what's not right for them. Good Luck, S.
