I have two grandsons - Jagger and Colton. Initially, I thought Jagger was "different" but he is Jagger through and through (a unique and precious little man). Our other grandson, Colton, is only two weeks old. I truly like both names although they're not your "everyday" names.

I've read all the responces so far and there's some really good names there. There are two points to ponder. How will he feel about that name when he gets into school and on into adulthood? Think real hard about how cruel children can be when it comes to teasing others about something as simple as a name. If you choose the name of a president, a movie star, anyone famous, there's always someone who can dig up some dirt and connect it with that name. When you choose a name, be really sure before engraving it on anything early because when you hold that baby, you could easily change your mind. Hospitals usually give you a couple of days to make up your mind before the papers are sent in, anyway.

I am a Bible Name fan. My kids names are Noah, Hannah, and Micah. Who can go wrong with a Bible name???
Some others that I liked were:
Zachariah
Jonah
Isiah
Ezekial (Zeke for short)
When it was time to name our kids, we got out the Bible and went down the index looking for things that stood out.
Have a great day and good luck finding a name.

i would look first at both sides of the family to see if you like any names there, sometimes surnames of ancestors make good names like rees, morgan, lloyd etc. you could also look at your surname and work out its ethnicity and match it to that, if your surname is eastern european or polish, you could look at names from that country.
we still had not named our daughter when she was born so i am the worlds worst for naming children! we eventually named her naomi.

I am a believer in family names. What else will tie him/her to their family if not their name? I have one step-son, who is a junior to his dad, and my baby boy (the last grandchild to be born) is named for two great grandfathers and my dad. I know, three names, but I couldn't make up my mind, plus I had outside pressure to name him after a third person, and I gave in. But I still believe in family heritage names. Pick a special (to you) member of your families, one from each, and find a way to put some part of the two names together. Usually there is a great sounding combo. Good Luck and Congrats!!!!

Mitchell. I don't know why this name popped into my head. I have known two Mitchells and they were both very good-looking guys. One was 34 when I met him and the other was 4 so I conclude that Mitchells are good-looking at any age! .....smile
Also, the name is a bit different and there are many names that can be combined with it either as a first or middle name.
Let me know what name you choose.
