I was wondering if anybody could tell me about the "sit & stand" strollers. We currently have a regular double stroller but my 3 year old does not like to ride anymore. I've been looking at the Fisher Price version of the "sit & stand" and also the Baby Trend "sit & stand" stroller. Almost all the online reviews I've found have been negative... But I'd like to hear from some "real people". Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well I finally did it..I bought the Baby Trend sit & stand stroller. So far we have only used it once and that was at the zoo. It seemed to work great...my husband never complained about it being to big to go through the exhibits. Thanks everbody for your help! W.

W.,
We have a sit n' stand stroller. We love it!! We have had it now for about 7 years and have five children use it. We bought ours through a baby store in Sioux Falls, SD. I believe it is the baby tenda brand. It is great since it allows the older child the chose to sit or stand while with you. It is also nice since you can use the bar for a car seat or allow the younger child just to sit in the seat like a regular stroller. I have to agree that I have nothing negative to say about it.

Good luck with everything.

I have the Baby Trend Sit and Stand for my 3 year old and 8 month old. I really love my stroller. My 3 year old loves to be able to either sit, stand or walk with us. She loves the freedom. It's a long stroller, so getting through some of the stores isn't as easy as it used to be. I would recommend it.

I'm sorry but I can't help with that. My kids both hated the stroller after they turned three. I put them in harnesses and let them walk with me. It makes them feel grown up without the hazard of them running off. I would try those first. Good Luck!!!

We also have the Baby Trend Sit N Stand stroller, and we love it. My three year old likes to be able to jump on himself when he's tired of walking, and it was nice not having to pick him up when my second was a newborn. The only negative things I'd say about it is that there isn't any room to put anything in the basket, since it's in the middle it's hard to get to. Plus it does take up most of the trunk space (though I've never had a regular double stroller to compare it to, maybe those are the same). But we still love it, it's been to the zoo, the fair, parks, and exercise walks. It also handles better on grassy areas than my single stroller did. Hope this helps!

Hi W. - I have a sit and stand. I got it when my youngest was out of the infant carseat. I LOVE it because my now 4 year old boy loves to get in and out to look at things and then sit back down. I can't think of anything negative to say, I had a double stroller for a short period of time and lifting my son, who was 2.5 then, in and out drove me crazy!! So I Love mine and I'm glad that I could help!!

The Sit and Stand stroller is awesome. I have one my three year old loves to stand. he thinks that he's helping me push his brother who is one. It folds nicely and pushes easy. I love this stroller. Hope that helps.... S.

Our sit 'n stand has saved our family outings. I have nothing negative to say about it. It rocks. I think we have the baby trend...? We got it at Target. It was pretty cheap, too.
