Stroller for Rough Terrain
Hello, my mom takes my daughter to two different dog parks. Her current stroller is just not up for the challenge of this terrain. One has uneven ground, but the ground is hard. The other is a baseball field...you know how strollers are in grass (and it's often damp grass because of the golf course behind it). Are there any ideas on good stroller's that will work well on this rough terrain, but are not too expensive?
Thank you!

My mom has decided on the Jeep Stroller, it has great reviews on Amazon and doesn't cost as much as the other ones.
Thank you for the ideas!

Sounds like you need a jogging stroller. Go here for some reviews and prices of various ones:

I have an InStep double jogging stroller that I like so far. I only just got it a few weeks ago. Bet you could find some of the more expensive ones second-hand via Craigslist. Congrats on the baby!

Obviously you need a good jogging stroller (I'm sure you knew that) and probably want to know some good kinds. I LOVE the jeep stroller that has three wheels and the front can lock in place or swivel. I have a Schwinn double jogger that I love also. If you want to come to Spokane,WA you can have my old Jeep stroller still in excellent condition.

Anything with large wheels. I have a BOB Revolution but i know that's more than you want to spend so just look for big wheels.

You want a stroller that has 12 inch or larger wheels - pref 16 or 20 inch wheels. These wheels are air tires (like for bikes). Those type of wheel sizes are found on jogging strollers. Try eBay or Craigslist. Good Luck.
BTW - I have a Baby Jogger brand (16 inch wheels) myself and LOVE it! I would definitely recommend it. It is expensive but I am sure you can find a used one of these on craigslist. But I would only recommend this one if you would also use it for jogging. Otherwise, other brands can prob do the trick at half the price. (unless you find a used one)... Good luck.
