Try vitamin E oil. You can also get lotion with vitamin E in it and some lotions will say it helps with stetch marks. I used it when i had my historectomy and you can't even hardly see my scar now

hi A. - i have to say i dont agree w/ the previous post about time and coco butter... BOTH DIDNT WORK!!! when i signed up to sell marykay i bought the cellulite miracle set w/ a lot of skepticism. used it loved it, my thighs were about a half inch smaller on each side and i noticed my stretch marks were dramatically dissappearing. i think it works and i'd love to have you let me know what you think! if it doesnt work its a full refund, not much to lose cept thos stretch marks =)

it was the only thing that worked for me, and i bathed myself in coco butter, didnt do nething while pregnant and after

I have them too... It sucks, it's hereditary, it's here to stay... Maybe lasers, I've mostly accepted my plight... But everyday of my daughters life I shall remind her of how she's ravaged me mind and body!!!
Just kidding.

After I had my baby, I asked my Gynecologist how do I rid, myself of the marks of torn skin. Unfortunately, she said those are the marks of battle. I tried everything. The only thing that helped a little was losing the weight and minimizing the appearance. Helping to keep the skin supple and pliable during the body growth period will help, including drinking milk and moisturizing with vaseline and vitamin E. Other than that????

This wasn't around when my kids were born for my stretch marks, but I have friends who have used the creams for scars, like Scar Zone and have had good results. Couldn't hurt to try.

Hey A.. I have heard on the new several years ago retina A takes them away. i use on my face for years. You have to be very careful with it and put on very light like directions say. It is expensive too! Oh don't worry I bet no one ever notices. You are probably more aware of them than any one . I know what it is like whe we woman find fault on our bodies . Men can he scars they are more handsome and we get the pits. Also anytime i can get in the sun that helps mine ot show. Use sun protection and it still helps. I try to expose as much of my breasts in the sun alone time when i can this works. Hope this helps any. We all have them, lol J.

How far postpartum are you? They fade A LOT after the first 6 months or so. If you've just given birth within the last couple months, don't worry, they will get better. I don't know of any product that works once you already HAVE the stretch marks, just things that can prevent them. I know there are expensive dermatological procedures that can visibly reduce their appearance and I've heard of products that are for scars and stretch marks but haven't tried any of that! Good luck!

Vitamin E Oil, you can buy it at most any Pharmacy it will be with the Vitamins. It is very moisturizing for the skin and nails. If that doesn't work you can also try the scar gel, but nothing is going to get rid of them completely only reduce the redness. Moisturizing will keep them from getting worse or cracking open also.

Nothing topical really works after the fact. I would suggest you consult a Plastic surgeon.

I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but I have seen a product in the shopping section with band aids and such that is made specifically to reduce the appearance of scars. You would have to read the label of course to see what it says, but it might help.

Mederma is amazing. It's a scar fading cream available at any drug store. You'll find it in the first aid section usually. It's pricey, about $20, but it will make a big difference.

I would try vitamin E oil. you can get it in gel capsules, I think or just a bottle. I used it everyday sometimes a couple times a day on a large burn mark on my arm. In a few weeks it was almost gone. however, this was about the size of a dollar coin and I could rub the whole area whenever it came to mind without being real noticeable as it was on my arm. Also, RUB, RUB, RUB. Scar tissue has trouble staying put if you are rubbing it. The motion helps it to break down. I am sorry for you and wish you the best.

Hey,
I have the same problem. Mine used to look really bad. My stretch marks were red and purple. I got this stretch mark cream from my cousin. She sells stuff for AVON. It worked great! It did not make them just go away (like I would have liked to have happen), but you don't notice them like before. At least they match my skin color. I don't exactly remember the name of the cream. I just know that it was a light purple color, and it was from AVON. You should definatly try it.

I read about your problem with stretch marks. My daughter has serious stretch marks as well. She's using a product called BIOil. You can get it at your local Walgreens store. Just ask any store personal. It seems to be working for her. You might also try vitamin E oil. It helps reduce scars. I hope this helps.

Other than using lotions while pregnant to keep the skin soft, the ONLY thing to do for stretch marks is TIME. Excercise will work a little as well. If you tone your muscles, your skin will "shrink" back. Some women get them, some don't. It all depends on your genetics and hormones.

As we have all experienced with childbirth, stretch marks are not reversible without plastic surgery, but I have had success with using tanning creams to cover them up.... there are several fairly inexpensive lotions with added "toners, or subtle tanners" you can get at the grocery store... good luck, and if you find a cure, let me know! Hi A.,
I've found Vitamin E Oil to be somewhat effective. (my dad describes me as Zebra girl, since I have BIG babies). Also, getting a nice tan (1 year after childbirth, as to avoid damage) will cover them fairly nicely.

Hope it helps... sorry you're in the Zebra crowd. :)

Hi my name is T. Billington and I am a rep for BeautiControl. I have a mobile spa business. I have the same spa treatments and anti-aging products that you can get at your local spas for 1/3 of the cost. I know that you do not know me and you get bombarded with all of the other direct sales companies but I want to show you that I am different! I could help you a few ways one is I GUARANTEE ALL of my products if it does not work the way I tell you it should you get your money back from me no questions just good business, second I will send you free samples so you can try it before you would ever buy anything, third I promise that you will get the best service possible I own this business and this is how I support my family. You have nothing to lose also we have skin care that is comparable to high end department store. I can also set up appointments to do consultations for skin care, anti-aging, spa, and makeovers.

I have some creme called Demarkable that works well for me and other women I know.

I would love to help!
