Hi Melonie,

I turn 43 in June and I am the Mother of a 22 year old and a 4 year old.My best advise is to just give it time and they will fade. I have extream old stretch marks from gaining 55 pounds during my first pregnancy, which pretty much ruined my tummy area. I have yet to find anything OTC that works. It would be really nice if we all could afford laser and tummy tucks. I Just look at it this way, it's just a small price to pay. Look what God has given us.

Personally, there is really not much you can do. Once you have the stretch marks unless you do laser there isnt' much you can do about them. They will fade on their own but they will always be there. This is comming from a mom of three with stretch marks and who has tried pretty much every cream that claims to work. Don't waste your money IMO... Cocoa butter is still good to use though just don't expect any mircles. Sorry....

Cocoa Butter - the real stuff that is thick, not the lotion......i got it in a tub at WalMart - it has worked wonders for me....got the recommendation from a nurse who's sister had used it with horrible stretch marks after three kids

I used Palmers lotion. They have one just for stretch marks. The one reason I think that it really works is because during my c section about the only thing I can remember is the nurse saying "she doesn't have a stretch mark one" So needless to say I'm now a strong supporter of the lotion. That is the only thing I used while pregnant.

What works for me is Cocabutter. It may takes awhile to fad, but it's good.
