Store Brand Diapers Vs. Big Name?

Just out of curiosity to here other peoples opinions on this....
My daughter has very very sensitive skin and when wearing both Pampers and Huggies she'll have an infected diaper rash in a matter of days.....but with store brands and Luvs she does not.....the same goes for baby wipes.... does this happen with anyone else???
and my second question was do you really think there is a noticeable cost difference between the two?? I was just thinking about it and didn't ever look into that aspect of it....

What can I do next?

You can avoid a lot of the rash problems and the huge $$ involved with disposable wipes and diapers by looking into cloth! I spent maybe $400-500 on my diapers, wipes and supplies and was done vs the $2,000-$3000 you can spend from birth to potty training on disposables. If I had it to do over I'd go with one size pocket diapers. Go on just like a disposable and are super easy to use.

I notice a cost, but only because I used a great coupon at Wal-Greens a few months ago. I got jumbo packs of diapers for $2.59 each. I purchased all that I could and still have some left that I am working on going through. I ended up buying about 4 cases. :)

My LO seems to poop out of the pampers and has even ruined our pumpkin seat due to it. :( So we try to avoid them at all possible cost.

My daughter uses the target brand and we love it. There is a pretty big price difference!! We get a large box of target brand for $15.99, and the huggies box, for the same quantity is $25.99. When I buy 2 boxes each month, you figure the difference in cost is almost equivalet to a free box every 3rd time!!

My son's skin is sensitive and the one or two times we tried huggies or any brand other than pampers irritated him .... plus I did not like the overly paper feeling of the other brands. I thought it was worth the extra money, we saved money in other areas.

We're the opposite. For a long time DD could not wear store brand and we did cloth or Pampers Sensitive (pre-dry max). I've used Target and they're fine, but I miss the Pampers smell, if that makes sense. Did you try Huggies Pure and Natural or one of the Eco brands w/o chlorine?

Sometimes it depends on the store and the sale. There are times when Pampers is cheaper, either with a coupon or sale or I can go to Babies R US or diapers.com and get them in a bigger box. I always check price per unit.

I have found generic/store brand wipes to be not nearly as thick or soft or wet as Huggies. I love Huggies brand baby wipes. It seems like no matter what else I try, I end up using twice as many and not saving any money at all.

We have not had problems with sensitive skin, but we use BJ's brand diapers, and the cost is half as much as Huggies or Pampers. I do not like Huggies diapers (they don't seem to fit my kids as well). Pampers are my favorite, but they're not worth the extra cost, and BJ's diapers seem to be higher quality than other store brands. The money we save on diapers completely pays for the cost of BJ's membership ($40, I think).

Both of my daughters got rashes from pampers and huggies little movers. The only ones that I really liked for them was the huggies snug and dry. I think it is the chemicals that are used when making them. My Dr. suggested a chemical free diaper when my DD had a really bad rash and couldn't get rid of it. Worked like a charm and then we went back to the huggies S&D. The chemical free is sold at Big Y grocery stores. It is a brand I had never heard of before, but none of the name brands sell them in bigger sizes.
